Research

I am an anthropologist, geographer and artist, as well as an art and media curator. As of January 2024, I am an ABD PhD candidate in the department of Anthropology and Geography at Louisiana State University (LSU.)

My doctoral research focuses on the role of language in the perseverance of the plantation landscape in the Gulf Coast United States. I experiment with both ethnography, informed by theories of trauma dissociation, and documentary filmmaking.
