Research

I am an anthropologist/geographer, artist, and curator. As of January 2024, I am an ABD PhD candidate in the department of Anthropology and Geography at Louisiana State University (LSU), with an expected graduation date of early 2025.

My doctoral research experiments with nonrepresentational ethnography and focuses on difference and habitation of plantation landscapes in the Gulf Coast United States. I am especially interested in how studies of trauma and dissociation can amend and productively mutate conventional ethnographic practices.
